Kim Oanh Land and Its Aspiration to Elevate Vietnamese Living Standards

Social housing has been identified as one of Kim Oanh Land’s key strategic pillars in its long-term development roadmap. Through the K-Home project series, the business is steadily redefining living standards for Vietnamese people.
Redefining Living Standards in the Social Housing Segment
Recently, the Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Construction to study increasing the income eligibility threshold for social housing buyers to approximately VND 25–27 million per month, up from the current VND 20 million. This move reflects a policy shift toward better aligning with the real income levels and housing needs of urban workers. According to estimates, Vietnam’s demand for social housing could reach around 2.4 million units by 2030, with industrial workers accounting for nearly half of this figure.
In reality, in major industrial provinces such as Binh Duong (former), Bac Ninh (former), and Dong Nai (former), about 70% of workers still live in rented accommodations with limited safety, amenities, and living conditions. This long-standing issue highlights the urgent need for social housing not only in terms of quantity, but also in delivering stable, long-term living quality.
Understanding this, social housing plays a vital role in Kim Oanh Land strategic orientation. From planning and design to construction and operations, its projects aim to create well-structured urban communities with modern, convenient, and human-centered living environments—aligned with the real needs of Vietnamese people and the Government’s sustainable social welfare goals.

The company focuses on smart design solutions that optimize functionality, reduce operating costs, and still ensure comfort and modern living standards.
At K-Home New City—the pioneering Singapore-standard social housing urban area in Vietnam, Kim Oanh Land has collaborated with reputable contractors such as Coteccons, Handong, TLT, COSACO, An Phong, An Phuoc Binh Duong to strictly control technical standards, construction progress, and quality. The project also incorporates materials and interior products from well-known brands including An Cuong, Hao Canh, Poli-FSL, Varmora Granito, and J.Lilen. In addition, the company has partnered with AirCity to establish the K-City joint venture, aiming to apply artificial intelligence (AI) and autonomous robotics in the management of its social housing developments. According to many experts, it is rare for a social housing project to bring together such a comprehensive ecosystem of leading companies across construction, materials, and operations as seen in K-Home New City.
Singapore-standard social housing model defines a new way for the real estate market in the future
Just six months after its launch, all 3,310 units at K-Home New City were fully absorbed, clearly demonstrating strong end-user demand and the market’s positive response to the well-invested Singapore-standard model. To date, part of the project has already been handed over, with residents beginning to move in since the Lunar New Year.
Building on this success, Kim Oanh Land continues to pursue its goal of developing 40,000 social housing units by 2028, all aligned with Singapore standards. Starting from March 2026, the company plans to launch three additional projects in Dong Nai, delivering approximately 4,000 units in key industrial zones with strong housing demand—such as the Ring Road 3 and Road 25C connecting to Long Thanh Airport in Nhon Trach, the administrative center of Trang Bom, and the former Bien Hoa City.
According to Mrs. Đặng Thị Kim Oanh, Chairwoman and CEO of Kim Oanh Group, Kim Oanh Land’s representative, their upcoming projects will maintain—or even exceed—the quality of K-Home New City, while keeping pricing accessible so that workers can own a home with initial capital of just around VND 200 million.
With an initial investment starting from only VND 200 million, buyers can own fully finished apartments at K-Home social housing projects.
In addition to these three projects, Kim Oanh Land also plans to develop further social housing projects in Ho Chi Minh City and other areas in Dong Nai, with a total scale of more than 3,000 units.
